| Body-language in class of teachers is one kind of body-language which is used by teachers in class to communicate with students to complete their teaching task, including head movement language, body movement language, dress and personal adornment language and distance language. If young teachers in rural primary schools can make good use of body-language in class, it is good for promoting the all-round development of students and improving the quality of teaching.There are three research methods are used in this study, including literature method, observation method and investigation method. Firstly, this paper takes the young teachers in rural primary schools of Xuzhou city of Jiangsu province as the research object. In order to get the first-hand data, it is required to observe and record the status of the application of body-language in class of young teachers in rural primary schools using Body-language in Class of Teachers Observation Tables. Secondly, it is important to analyze the data that we get to find out the problems and reasons for why during the process of the application of body-language in class of young teachers in rural primary school. It is required to design and implement surveys to find out the reasons according to the problems found above. Lastly, it is required to make recommendations for how to improve the use of body-language in class of young teachers in rural primary schools.In general, teachers’ body-language has the following characteristics: concomitant, intuitional, situated, intentional, selective. It also has a lot of functions, for example, it can promote the quality of teaching with the oral teaching and replace the oral teaching in special situations. In order to promote the quality of teaching, young teachers in rural primary schools are called to use body-language effectively in class. There are six principles should be obeyed during this process: subsidiarity, accuracy, stability, flexibility, emotion and respect in good faith. Meanwhile, young teachers can use the following methods to learn how to use body-language: mastering a lot of body-language vocabularies, practicing in class and strengthening cultivation in other aspects themselves.Young teachers in rural primary schools should pay attention to body language in class, learn how to use body-language effectively through ways mentioned above, and make good use of it in class. |
