The key to realize the leap development of rural education lies in the improvement of the quality of rural teachers.Teachers' self-directed learning need teacher make use of their own teaching practice,peripheral resources based on their own work experience and current working life,and constantly construct the meaning of teaching work and self-cognition.It is a highly autonomous learning process.Teachers' self-directed learning is a long,continuous and creative learning process,which is not restricted by funds and venues.The flexible and internal characteristics makes self-directed learning an important way for teachers' sustainable development.Based on formal teacher education in the real limitation in teacher education practice,teachers' self-directed learning is to promote the rural teachers' professional development and quality promotion of the most effective practice.Teachers' self-directed learning ability is summarized as: self-directed learning ability in learning awareness and motivation,learning strategy,ability to implement learning plans,cooperation ability five aspects.Different types of teacher groups were tested for their abilities.This paper focuses on the investigation and research on the problems and countermeasures of the self-directed learning ability of young rural primary school teachers.We analyze the necessity and possibility of young teachers in rural primary schools for self-directed learning at first.Then we use the method of questionnaire and interview to research the present situation of rural elementary school young teachers which located in the Tianjin area,in order to understand the region teachers group self-directedlearning ability in particular average.The third part is according to the related influence factors to analysis of the investigation in the process of self-directed learning.At last is on the basis of the theory and research,the new thought of providing some suggestions for rural primary school young teachers in the process of self-directed learning.
