With the accelerating of the process of socialization, social problems, derived from the rapid development of the society, came out endlessly. School, as an important part of our society, it is not only an essential place for students to learn, but also a place where children form their healthy personality and moral character. The present school bullying behaviors are in a worrying situation, in the respect of types and means of bullying, the severity, damage and the influence of school bullying are all increased, therefore, it is urgent to think and explore how to deal with bullying. As the writer of this paper, during my years in graduate school, I had a one-year social work practice in a junior high school, based on this experience mentioned above, combined with related theories and the research status on school bullying both at home and abroad, using the integrated method such as participant observation, interview, chat tools online and literature researches, guided by social learning theory, cognitive behavior theory and the social role theory, I tried an social work intervention on a school bullying victim in Z middle school, in order that I can explore the client’s potential and advantages, enhance his confidence and guide the client take a positive way to deal with bullying and eventually avoid the bullying happening, and even more, hope to explore the possibility of a social work intervention in school bullying behavior through the case of the victims. The study found that, at present, school bullying exists prevalently in primary and secondary schools, and what’s worse, it exists mostly in the ways of implicit words bullying and relationship bullying, due to the restrict of traditional education mode and the influence of the traditional concept of parents, school bullying cannot got due attention, and lacking systematic and scientific ways to prevent and deal with bullying behavior. However social work has its own professional advantage, is of great significance in preventing and response to school bullying, for which it provides a new intervention for school education and management perspective. The study found that we should take all these aspects together to think about how to prevent and response to school bullying behaviors as following:Firstly, school work with its unique professional concepts, methods and skills in the prevention and intervention of bullying which can play its professional advantages.Secondly, at the macro level, by considering the implementation mechanism of the government "visible hand" and the media "invisible hand" to promote anti bullying. On the one hand, the government, through the "visible hand" to provide policy support and protection for the prevention and dealing with bullying behaviors; on the other hand by media the "invisible hand" to play a role in the public opinions, which provides a window for the public to correctly understand and treat bullying behavior.Thirdly, at the medium level, promoting the reform of the traditional education system, and strengthening the cooperation between school and the third party. Effectively playing the function of school psychological consultation room, vigorously promoting the "Every school has a social worker" the implementation of the policy, to provide help for students to deal with multiple channels of bullying behavior.Lastly, at the micro level, enhancing students’ resilience, improving the crisis management ability of students. By multiple social practice and experience to lastly enhance the students’ interpersonal relationship and emotion management ability and the ability of students’ confidence, resilience and crisis management and strain.
