SOLO classification theory is a kind of qualitative evaluation method with layered structure,according to the results of learning students can observe it divided into five different learning levels,the five learning level has stronger measurability and operability. In the current scholars in the study of the theory, it more than was used in open test score standards, but rarely used in the preparation of open questions. This paper analyzes the SOLO classification theory in geography open-ended questions compiled the advantage, through the literature method, put forward geography open questions of general program based on the theory of SOLO classification and design the sample as a reference and reference, Verified by experimental method the rationality of SOLO classification theory applied to prepare the geography open question.The first part. Preface. In this part narrates the background of the research, the significance of the research and to summarize previous research by literature research. On the basis, select the corresponding research methods, design research route, and put forward the desired results.The second part. The overview of Geographical open questions and SOLO classification theory application value, in this part, made a definition of geography open question, thus clear research category and summarizes the general features of geography open questions. Compared the Bloom education target classification theory, expound the application value of the SOLO classification theory in geography open questions.The third part, The design of geography open question based on the theory of classification of SOLO. Firstly the author present the principle of designing geography open question based on SOLO classification theory, that is to say Build on curriculum standards, Thinking-orientation,Reflect open. Secondly,Compiled general application of designing geography open questions and test score standard.The fourth part, The case analysis of geography open question based on SOLO classification theory. In this part, the author design six typical sample question by the process of geography open question that has been stated in the third chapter, those sample covers the physical geography, human geography and regional geography.The fifth part,The experiment and analysis of the design of geography open question based on SOLO classification theory. In this part test 89 students by sampling experiment, according to test data analysis, the design of geography open question based on SOLO classification theory has good performance in the item difficulty, degree of differentiation and validity.
