| Psychological depression has become one of the most serious health problems of the 21st century, and the problem of teachers’ psychological stress has become the focus of global concern as well, while preschool teachers’psychological stress has been become increasingly onto researcher mesa. With the development of society, preschool teachers seem to have a higher social mission, which actually increases the kindergarten teachers’ stress. So what preschool teachers are faced with the kind of pressure? And how to adjust to such psychological stress?Four public and four private kindergartens are randomly selected from Wuhan for the research, which contain 221 teachers chosen. Test method was utilized to understand the overall status of psychological stress of kindergarten teachers, combined with the questionnaire and interview to understand the mental stress source of kindergarten teachers’, so the main results are as follows:Firstly, the overall psychological stress on kindergarten teachers is at the middle level. However, there are significant differences between the teachers of different nature kindergarten, grades, positions, class sizes, education levels, wage levels, housing forms and different marital status, which leads to such specific phenomenon:teachers’stress in the public kindergarten is significantly higher than those in the private kindergarten; second grade of primary school teachers’ stress is evidently higher than those at the primary level, senior primary and undetermined titles teachers; the master teachers and the vice class teachers’stress are markedly higher than care teachers; the pressure of teachers in the class size more than 36 kindergarten is significantly higher than those in the class of less than 36 people; teachers possessing bachelor degree or above are observably apparently higher than those graduated from college or below; the teacher who’s monthly salary in 3000-4000RMB has the highest stress, which is significantly higher than those with less than 3000RMB monthly; pressure of the teachers with their own houses are significantly lower than those have to rent houses or live with their parents; unmarried teacher’s stress is dramatically greater than married teachers. In addition, kindergarten teachers’ mental stress was no significant differences in gender, age, seniority and class.Kindergarten teachers’ mental stress mainly result from the followings:First of all, in their daily work, teachers’stress come from the safety problem of children and parents’ misunderstanding and nonsupport, the complicated non-teaching affairs and large workloads, and the evaluation of kindergarten management; besides, in their family life, teachers, with the economic burden on their shoulders, have no time to look after their families and educate their children; third, in the social aspect, they suffer from the low social status and large income gap; last, their self expectation is too high.Based on the above-mentioned, there puts forward some recommendations to adjust preschool teachers’stress, including improving their social status and establishing a positive image and reasonable expectations of preschool teachers from social aspect; optimizing the kindergarten management environment, reducing the foreseeable stress source and providing the necessary psychological counseling and recreation activities from kindergarten level; developing a healthy lifestyle, carrying out scientific time management, mobilizing the enthusiasm pressure and shaping an optimistic personality from the individual level. |
