In this paper, a series of purposes are designed to be achieved: based on the understanding of the features and application of the teaching materials, the effect of vocal repertoire teaching is to be enhanced, which boosts the progress of quality-oriented education. In addition, full use of these teaching materials helps to realize their value in basic phase of music education: aesthetic education and healthy philosophy of beauty, boosting the students’ personality development, and cultivating high-quality talents with all-around development. And meantime, the young teachers are to be helped to understand further the teaching materials so that the efficient measures can be taken in teaching to meet the teaching objectives. Literature research method and use of questionnaire are the main research methods.Research shows that vocal repertoire accounts for a large percentage in this teaching material, among which Chinese vocal repertoire plays a major role, together with some foreign ones. Such features highlight the emphasis on the heritage of famous national musical cultures at home and abroad, strengthening the students’ national awareness and patriotic temperament. In addition, it also helps the students cultivate a multiple perspectives in beauty appreciation so as to realize its function of aesthetic education.During this research, some problems have been revealed: first, the teaching material cannot meet the students’ needs of popular vocal repertoire; second, there is a contradiction between too many folk songs in the teaching materials and students’ lack of preference for them; third, an urgent need has been realized to support the passing down of the opera music etc. In conclusion, as a music educator, it’s necessary to take in account how to enhance the teaching effects while teaching the vocal repertoires in this version of teaching material based on the current application of the teaching material. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | music materials for Junior Middle School, vocal repertoire, the version of PMPH, style, subject, teaching philosophy | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
