Nowadays big data research rapid development, related research in the field of education also in full swing. With the deepening of education data mining and analysis of study, lack and clutter of education data gradually emerges, it not enough strong to support further research needs, the learning record system that be able to record the complex learning data comprehensively, become the priority of education big data research. In 2013, the ADL organization issued the xAPI specification to tracking learning experience, it solves the problem of data sharing between two different platform, and offers a new way for learning data collection.Based on the xAPI specification, after the further study of the related domestic and foreign standards, the writer designed a set of feasible learning record standard. The standard record the learner basic information in a traditional way, and at the same time, record learners’ learning experience in the form of activity stream. According to the standard, this study designs and implemented the Design and Development of the Learning Record System Based on the xAPI. Through docking communication with multiple student information management system, educational administration management system and learning management system, the system collections and records the basic information of the learners and online learning experience data comprehensively, and stores them to different database based on their characteristics. In addition, the author puts forward a learning record visualization scheme at the end of the article, to show the learners’ learning experience and growth trajectory.This study explored the method of learner data recording and the design of record system, lays the foundation for the construction of large-scale study record system. On the characteristics of the system, this study put forward visual presentation about learning experience, so that making the learners, parents, teachers and school intuitive understand learners’ learning situation, providing data support to assessing and improving the teaching strategy and improving the teaching effect, supporting feedback of teaching and resources pushing and individualized teaching, and sharing the large data in education with the researchers of learning analysis and data mining.
