Along with the social material civilization and spiritual civilization of advancing with The Times, science and technology has been rapid development, people’s life has entered the information and network age. Focusing on the multimedia application in ordinary high school classroom teaching has ten years of practice and experience. In this process, many experts, scholars and teachers in ordinary high school history classroom teaching the use of multimedia manifold, try a new perspective of theoretical research and teaching. At present, the multimedia teaching in ordinary high school Chinese, English, maths and so on the application of the classroom, has made considerable achievements and good development. In the ordinary high school history classroom, however, due to historical result in college entrance examination liberal arts comprehensive result of score is not big, in addition, in the traditional concept of teachers and students widely and the understanding of \"how to learn history curriculum\"is still \"cramming\"negative state, the resulting multimedia less doesn’t even have a normal application in the high school history class. Based on the present situation, have to cause education scholars and researchers to use multimedia in ordinary high school history curriculum of the importance of thinking seriously, and further discuss how to develop and promote multimedia used in ordinary high school history curriculum.From specific actual conditions, this paper respectively from the perspectives of history, science, the teachers, the analysis of the necessity of the multimedia application in high school history classroom, the author thinks that the application of multimedia in the history classroom is the need of teaching reform in the new period, is also the history curriculum itself attribute its content diversity must be determined by the needs of the display, or avoid \"rote learning\",\"cramming\" of the traditional study way, strive to cultivate the students’ interest in historical consciousness and historical needs. Based on the research perspectives and research purpose, this paper chose three middle school, in the history of using multimedia in classroom situation research and interviews, compare and induces the three schools in the history classroom multimedia application problems and contradictions existing in the process, mainly include the history teachers multimedia teaching experience insufficiency, the school teaching environment is not perfect, the technology is not skilled operators, the local teachers development imbalance, common problems such as backward teaching concepts. To solve these problems, the author puts forward relevant Suggestions and countermeasures, in the aspect of teaching equipment, put forward the construction of high school good multimedia teaching environment and update multi-media teaching equipment, establish a complete system of modern teaching. In terms of classroom teachers, hope the teacher more active learning to improve multimedia teaching technology, create good class atmosphere. Research in this article, from two aspects of hardware and software set up improve multimedia teaching ideas in history class, multimedia is widely used in high school history for the future to provide reference and reference.
