With the advancement of the process of education information, the combination of traditional face-to-face teaching and online learning has been widely used in higher education. Micro lesson, because of its short time, small volume, Concise and focused content and other characteristics, become an important resource for people to learn in the Information Age. With the rapid development of information technology, how to integrate information technology and application of learning resources to improve teaching quality is the hope of educators in the teaching practice, but also the demands of the information age. To meet the process of education information, Central China Normal University built cloud classroom for learning, blended learning mode is applied to teaching practice within the school based on Cloud-based platform of online learning and traditional classroom teaching in 2015.However, it found that low resource utilization for micro-lesson online learning in teaching practice, learners’ interest is not high, the students’ learning effect is not good and other issues. Therefore, Taking "Theory and Technology of Distance Education" as an example, the author analyzes the current situation and problems of the existing micro-teaching through the investigation, according to this, micro-lesson under blended learning were designed to stimulate learners’ interest in learning and improve teaching efficiency.Research of this paper is divided into five chapters, each chapter of the specific content as follows:The first chapter mainly elaborates the research background, the current situation of domestic and foreign research, the purpose and significance of the research, research contents and research methods.The second chapter first describes the related concepts which is involved in Micro lessons and blended learning of this paper, and then introduce theoretical basis, including the mixed learning model research, Micro-teaching design process and micro instructional design principle.The third chapter first survey the teaching situation of "Theory and Technology of Distance Education" under the blended learning and summarize the existing problems. Then the paper expounds the concrete instructional design process with the knowledge of "What is distance education".The fourth chapter mainly elaborates the practice research of the micro lesson instructional design under the blended learning, investigates and analysis the effect of the micro lesson is applied to the practice, and finally summarizes the existing problems.In the fifth chapter, author first makes a summary of the achievements and shortcomings of the research on the design and application of micro teaching in the blended learning, and then the future research work is prospected.
