In the era of digital learning, lifelong learning concept deeply rooted. Mobile learning, ubiquitous learning, seamless learning, intelligence learning, micro-learning and other emerging micro-learning ways come into people’s vision, leading a new wave of learning revolution. At the same time, learners wish that the learning resources could be quite micro and of practical use. The learning resources have increasingly rich with the characteristics of "micro", "small", "light", and these resources become a focus of many educational researchers. Information literacy is the core of lifelong learning. College computer basic course is an important way to cultivate students’ information literacy and self-learning ability. Through detailed investigation, there are still a lot of problems in the college computer basic course, leading to low learning enthusiasm of the learners, poor learning quality, even hinder the development of information literacy and self-learning ability. How to use micro-learning resources to promote the college basic computer teaching basic computer? Which way is scientific, rational and effective?The literature analysis, questionnaires, interviews and operations research are the mainly methods of this study. We construct the instructional model based on micro-learning resources from two sides of theory and practice. We strive to give the learners to contact the new teaching method through developing a variety of teaching activities, providing all kinds of micro-learning resources and implementing diversified teaching evaluation in the real teaching environment. At the same time, cultivating learners’ practical operation ability, self-learning ability, information literacy and lifelong learning consciousness are our goals. The basic computer teaching reform policy implement many years, scholars have focused on improving the efficiency and quality of teaching and learning by high quality of teaching methods and learning resources. Nowadays, the micro-learning arises at the historic moment, we hope the instructional model based on micro-learning resources in teaching practice can provide new ideas and directions for teaching reform of college based computer.This study illustrate our points from six chapters, namely introduction, definition and research base, model construction, instructional design, application practice and empirical analysis, summary and outlook.Chapter 1 is introduction. This part illustrates study background, domestic and foreign researches, and asks questions. Then according to the questions describes the research of significance, methods and ideas.Chapter 2 is definition and theoretical basis. This part is that details define for micro-learning, micro-learning resources, and explains the guiding significance and inspiration of connectivism theory, humanity theory and situates theory of this paper.Chapter 3 is model. Through detailed investigation and analysis, we are in order to understand issues in the computer course of teaching and teaching material, then combine with the existing micro-learning design models and the characteristics and advantages of micro-learning resources to put forward instructional model based on micro-learning resources.Chapter 4 is instructional design. This part detailed explains the instructional model based on the micro-learning by a case of college computer basic course. And this part is mainly reflecting the advantages of this teaching mode by the principles of instructional design, instructional design goals, instructional strategies, instructional design process and evaluation methods.Chapter 5 is application practice and empirical analysis. Analysis of test scores and conclusions through the impact of micro-learning resources for the learning process, the impact on the learning process of teaching mode, learners operational capacity and implement teaching effectiveness.Chapter 6 is summary and outlook. This part summarizes the study’s achievements and innovation points in this study, and points out the shortage of instructional design and curriculum implementation, then sum up the future of this instructional model development.
