Objective: Omega Wave Sport Technology System(Omega Wave System) is a non-invasive assessment of body function training monitoring instrument, test method is simple, easy to use, can be used to judge the performance status of Shanghai elite female volleyball players’ physical functioning condition in different training stages of pre-competition, and when the central nervous system fatigue occurs, heart rate variability, reaction rate and catecholamine and other indicators of the assessment report, to help coaches accurately know athletes physical function status, to change training plan timely and arrange training load reasonable, to provide the basis for scientific training. This study provides reference for the application of Omega Wave system in the athletes’ functional status, especially the central fatigue assessment. As a supplement to routine monitoring, the Omega Wave system test can make the evaluation result more accurate and reliable, and it will have a positive significance for the evaluation of innovative functional status and the establishment of the monitoring system.Methods:(1)Object: eight Shanghai outstanding female volleyball players.(2) Program: according to the training plan, selected different training stages before the National Women volleyball championship game: routine training stage(March 2, 2015 to March 28th) and around two weeks ago(June 8, 2015 to June 20, 2015), Omega Wave system test and urinary catecholamine test after the training.(3)Test indices: time domain indices include standard deviation of the NN interval(SDNN),adjacent normal RR interval of the difference between the standard deviation(SDSD),root mean squared differences of the standard deviation(RMSSD),percentage of beats that changed more than 50 milliseconds from the previous beat(PNN50);frequency domain indices include total power(TP),low frequency power(LF),high frequency power(HF) and LF/HF; Reaction rate indices include mean reaction time(m RT),the system’s functional level index(SFL),the nervous process stability index(RS),the system’s functional potential Index(FP);and catecholamine indices include, noradrenaline(NE)epinephrine(E),dopamine(DA).Results:(1) Testing 48 female volleyball players in training stages of pre-competition, 30 athletes occurred central fatigue, routine training phase in which 24 athletes, accounting for 80%; before the stage, only 6 athletes, only 20%.(2) HRV indicators: routine training phase, athletes’ SDNN,SDSD, RMSSD and other time domain and frequency domain results indicators LF, HF, etc in second, three weeks to be lower than the first week and the fourth week, showing the first drop after the rise of features, but there is no significant change; two weeks before athletes HRV results closer to the fourth week, with no significant difference in each week of the conventional stage.(3) The reaction rate test result, regular stage before the phase of each week athletes’ m RT, SFL, RS, FP indicators do not exist significant differences, but the third week m RT athletes than other weeks.(4) the results of urinary catecholamines, there is no significant difference in athletes’ NE and E result between weeks, but the DA test results is less than the third week of the regular phase before the other week, and have significant differences(P<0.05) with the fourth week and two weeks before the match.Conclusion:(1)before the different stages of female volleyball players’ central fatigue occurs in different situations, the conventional phase with a large load training, easily lead to the occurrence of athletes central fatigue.(2)there is no significant in athletes’ indicators of HRV changes in different training stages of pre-competition.(3)by the central neural system fatigue, the athletes’ reaction rate is low, the mean reaction time will increase.(4)when central fatigue occurs, athletes’ DA indexes of urinary catecholamines increased significantly.(5)when after an important training phase or training class, you can use Omega Wave system to evaluate players physical condition, whether diagnosis athletes’ central fatigue.
