With the new curriculum reform is beginning, the development of mathematics in junior middle school has become an important subject in the field of mathematics. The school mathematics "comprehensive and practical" class has a variety of topics and diverse environment, so the teaching design of the course does not have to follow the traditional teaching design. At the same time, as a new curriculum which is different from other fields, we should make the necessary adjustment according to its own characteristics. The experimental data were statistically calculated and analyzed by using SPSS software, Draw the following conclusions:1. Before the implementation of the teaching design, teachers are not sufficient for the preparation of the course and the degree of attention is not enough; students’ learning activities, learning methods, learning effects are different.2. "Comprehensive and practical" course can help students to develop personality, innovative spirit, and training ability.3. Curriculum development, the students for the classroom implementation of the main body, teachers for students to learn the knowledge of the media, to help students improve the overall quality of the overall, it’s concluded that the instructional design model has a positive effect on the teaching quality of the class.Finally, In the course of the implementation of the relevant Suggestions:1, junior high school mathematics teaching content and practice of Comprehensive Courses, Theme design should be based on the situation and characteristics of the students in the class.2, We should choose a reasonable teaching strategy, so that students learn problem-solving ideas, develop mathematical thinking, and it will not limit the creative thinking of students is the key.3, We should be transferred to the student’s personality evaluation, activity process evaluation, according to the actual situation of the diversified evaluation design and so on, help to cultivate students’interest in learning mathematics and self-confidence in the whole teaching evaluation.
