The main purpose of mathematics teaching is to cultivate students'mathematical quality.It is to implement the party's education policy from the aspects of people's values,necessary character and key ability,which is specifically divided into "four bases" and "four abilities".For example,the ability to ask and solve problems,the ability of logical thinking,the behavior habit of being organized and perfect in form,etc.These qualities are not formed all at once,but accumulated slowly in the process of mathematics learning,which is also related to people's innate genetic and psychological development level.Therefore,for students,the tasks of mathematics learning in each age group are also different.For example,the teaching content of mathematics in junior middle school includes four modules:number and algebra,graphics and geometry,statistics and probability,and synthesis and practice.The 2022 edition of mathematics curriculum standard points out that:"Synthesis and practice aims to cultivate students' ability to comprehensively use the learned knowledge and methods to solve practical problems.According to the characteristics of students in different sections,it focuses on interdisciplinary theme learning,appropriately adopts the methods of theme learning and project-based learning,designs real and complex problems,and guides students to comprehensively use mathematics and interdisciplinary knowledge and methods to solve problems."[mathematics curriculum standard for compulsory education(2022 Edition)is formulated by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China.]These four modules should be paid equal attention to,but the author learned from the teaching experience before postgraduate study that,for various reasons,the content of"synthesis and practice" is basically not opened.Many experts and scholars have done research on all aspects of "synthesis and practice",and there are quite a lot of literature.However,the research on the understanding of ethnic minority areas in China is rarely involved.Focusing on the implementation of "synthesis and practice" by junior middle school mathematics teachers in ethnic minority areas,this paper investigates seven sample schools selected from six autonomous prefectures in Qinghai,and a total of 77 valid questionnaires are collected.The survey found that teachers have a low understanding of synthesis and practice,and the school has not done relevant publicity;Teachers'attitude towards comprehensive and practical education is positive,and the penetration of other subject contents in the process of class is acceptable,which reflects the most important subject comprehensiveness in the concept of comprehensive and practical education;The implementation of comprehensive and practical education is limited by all aspects,especially the lack of relevant learning materials.In view of the above problems,it is suggested that schools strengthen the publicity of comprehensive and practical education;Professional and systematic training for mathematics teachers in comprehensive and practical education;Teachers should actively cooperate and take the initiative to learn new knowledge.In the new environment,according to the specific requirements of mathematics "synthesis and practice" course in junior middle school,we should make timely changes and adjustments to its teaching design.In order to implement the teaching of "synthesis and practice",this paper will introduce a new educational concept "a-stem" which is popular internationally and first proposed in China in 2015.Later,through the practical experience of some domestic schools on this teaching concept,Dr.Zou Xiao Dong proposed it.In my opinion,the implementation of this teaching concept in Qinghai ethnic areas should have a good harvest and improve mathematics teaching.Because in my impression,the children here are basically lively and cheerful,good at singing and dancing,and have strong curiosity.The discipline integrated mathematics education under the guidance of humanities can stimulate students' interest in learning.Both "synthesis and practice" and a-stem education involve interdisciplinary learning and application,and both value students' ability to find,analyze and solve problems.It is not difficult to find that the integration of "synthesis and practice" and a-stem education model is more conducive to the development of China's education.Based on this reality,this paper will study the integration of the two models on the basis of a full analysis of "synthesis and practice" and a-stem education.
