Meanwhile, it helps a lot in improving pupils’aesthetic judgment and emotional quotient. However, the teaching situation of ancient poetry is not cheerful for it is a kind of literary form which is a little far from our life. Moreover, pupils not only have difficulties in reading, but also lack understanding and emotional experience. Furthermore, Chinese teachers in higher grades don’t have deep understandings of ancient poetry’s teaching. Thus, ancient poetry teaching should be paid more attention to.Yushu City Experimental Elementary School owns rich school running experience, and it uses curricular standard experimental textbook of compulsory education of Changchun edition as its Chinese textbook. Chinese textbook of elementary school of Changchun edition thinks highly of ancient poetry. The formation of ancient poetry in it is almost classics which are typical, integrity and abundant. Moreover, it provides pupils a wide range of materials so as to make them understand Chinese traditional culture better. Furthermore, Chinese teachers use textbook as a blueprint while teaching.Yushu City Experimental Elementary School has achieved many good results in ancient poetry teaching. It not only creates a better atmosphere for learning ancient poetry, but also offers protection for ancient poetry teaching. Meanwhile, students develop good leaning habits during learning ancient poetry. Moreover, the ancient poetry reading in higher grades has made remarkable progress, stresses the teaching efficiency of ancient poetry and so on.Although Yushu City Experimental Elementary School has advanced school running ideas, it still faces some problems in ancient poetry teaching of higher grades. For example, it lacks teacher’s relevant training. As the teaching methods of ancient poetry teaching used by teachers are relatively single, which would results in a boring class even produces student’s learning-weariness. With the emotional penetration isn’t very deep, it would influence students’emotional experience of ancient poetry and impede the formation of students’aesthetic taste.This paper attempts to provide some suggestions to handle the exiting problems in ancient poetry teaching in Yushu City Experimental Elementary School’s higher grades. At first, school should strong teacher’s relevant training so as to improve teacher’s teaching level. And then, school should add colorful activities about ancient poetry in higher grades in order to expand channels for ancient poetry learning. Furthermore, teachers should improve their professionalism of learning ancient poetry so as to model students. Teachers should also enrich ancient poetry teaching methods in order to inspire the ancient poetry classroom. Meanwhile, teachers should pay attention to use many ways to stimulate student’s interest in learning ancient poetry. In addition, students should improve their imagination and associative ability of ancient poetry so as to deepen the emotional experience of ancient poetry and improve humanities.With ancient poetry is being paid more attention to by school, teachers and students, together with the developing of teaching level of ancient poetry, students’ learning efficiency and humanities of ancient poetry in Yushu City Experimental Elementary School’s higher grades are sure to make greater progress. |
