Ancient poetry is an artistic treasure in China's splendid culture.It is the immortal art and spirit of ancient masters.As a kind of literary sample unique to China,it influences generations of later generations with its unique charm in terms of language,content,form,and spiritual sentiment.Ancient poetry teaching can not only cultivate students' sentiment,but also cultivate students' aesthetic ability.This article takes a primary school in Xinxiang City as an example and uses literature,questionnaires,interviews,and observations to learning interest,learning methods,learning motivation,learning methods,learning results and teaching methods of ancient poetry,teaching goals,and evaluation of teaching from ancient high school students.Studies were carried out to investigate the problems existing in elementary school students' ancient poetry teaching and the reasons that affect primary school students' ancient poetry teaching activities,and proposed countermeasures for elementary school students' ancient poetry teaching activities.This paper includes the following five parts:The first part is introduction.We will sort out six aspects from the reasons for choosing the topic,research purpose and meaning,core concepts,literature review,research content,research ideas and methods,as well as the difficulties and innovations.The second part is the investigation of the ancient poetry teaching activities in the senior high school.We will do the research and analysis from six aspects,which are the primary school students' ancient poetry learning interests,learning methods,and teacher's ancient poetry teaching methods,teaching objectives and teaching evaluation.The third part is about the problems existing in the teaching of ancient poetry in the elementary school.Through investigation,it is found that students' interest in learning ancient poetry is not high and the learning method is not correct.Teachers value the recitation of ancient poetry teaching and neglect the interest of students.They emphasize the interpretation of words and ignore the artistic conception of poetry.What's more,they emphasize the translation of poetry content and despise the background of poetry creation.The fourth part analyzes the causes of the problems in the teaching of ancient poetry in the elementary school.Through the analysis of the problems,the paper discusses the reasons that affect primary school students' ancient poetry teaching: primary school pupils have limited ability to understand ancient poetry,Learning motivation is not strong,learning methods are passive and learning effects are not obvious;teachers are affected by exam-oriented education;emphasis on teaching,ignoring students' emotional experience;teacher's ancient poetry evaluation method is simple and humanistic.In the fifth part,the countermeasures for the teaching of ancient poetry in primary school are discussed.Based on the analysis of the problems in the teaching of ancient poetry in the senior grades of elementary schools,the paper explores the countermeasures to carry out the activities of the ancient poetry teaching in senior grades in elementary schools: step by step to stimulating students' interest in learning ancient poetry;paying attention to the reading of ancient poetry and creating a situation for the study of ancient poetry;learn the main body of ancient poetry,formulate timely teaching objectives;and use a variety of teaching methods to strengthen the connection with the background,motivate students' interest about ancient poetry,pay attention to the participation of students' ancient poetry recitation,as well as teachers should attach importance to the humanistic nature of ancient poetry evaluation.
