In recent years, with the continuous development and improvement of China-Thai relations,more attention were paid for Chinese in Thailand. Although learning Chinese in Thailand has a long history, it has been many problems still exist, and the worst problem is the native teacher resources. If cannot be solved, it will hinder the Chinese language education in Thailand. Therefore, in this paper, for the central and southern of Thailand region a total of 24 primary and secondary schools in Thailand, the research object of questionnaire survey is the native Chinese teachers, the content including their basic situation, professional attitude, knowledge ability, teaching situation, scientific research conditions and continuing education situation.Analysis the current situation and problems of the local Chinese primary and secondary school teachers in Thailand, explore the causes of problems, and put forward some countermeasures for improving the present situation of the native Chinese teachers in Thailand primary and secondary school.The quality of the teachers have a direct impact on the vitality of the school. The steady development of Chinese language education in Thailand depend on the native Chinese teachers’quality. In this paper, by analysis literature、theoretical and the questionnaire survey, summed up the following features of Chinese teachers in Thailand1, Lack of native Chinese language teachers, the young teachers proportion is big, and middle-aged teachers is rare. The proportion of men and women teachers’ difference is big, men teachers is less than women teachers.2, Teachers teaching environment is not good, but they love Chinese language teaching, and desire to be paid more attention by leaders.3, Teachers’basic knowledge of Chinese is good, but they lack of Chinese culture knowledge, knowledge of cross-cultural communication, language testing, etc.4, Teachers’teaching task is heavy, and pressure is big.5, Lack of teachers training, and the training content cannot meet the demand of teachers; Teachers’self-development consciousness is insufficient, professional knowledge and the teaching skills need to improved, the attitude of training is not correct.This paper put forward the following countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problem of Thai native Chinese teachers of primary and secondary school present situation:Firstly, the Thai government should increase investment of Chinese teacher, and improve the Chinese teachers’welfare.Secondly, the school according to the corresponding policy, through various channels to introduce Chinese teacher, respect for talent, and set up the mechanism of teachers improvement, promoting the growth of the native Chinese teachers, forming a virtuous cycle.Thirdly,the native Chinese teachers should have the consciousness of self development in practical teaching activities, and communicating with experienced teachers and Chinese volunteers, practice teaching skills.
