Environmental issues are major global issues currently and environmental education is an effective way to address and mitigate environmental problems. In the new curriculum of compulsory education, more and more disciplines, such as chemistry, geography, biology, physics, environmental protection contents of which are incorporated into the teaching contents. Junior Science is a set of compulsory physics, chemistry, biology, geography as an integrated discipline. In view of this, we investigate the conduct compulsory environmental education in junior high school science curriculum has its major necessity. The study made the following work:Firstly, the "environmental education" as the theme, to retrieve relevant literature at home and abroad were studied and analyzed. In theory, it describes the concept of the environment and environmental education, as well as the theoretical basis of environmental education. According to the students’ environmental awareness and attitudes, environmental knowledge both of the questionnaires, surveys and interviews of students, teachers were interviewed to identify problems in the implementation of the junior high school science curriculum environmental education are:First, students’ environmental awareness and attitude is correct, but the students’ knowledge of the environment is not optimistic reserves and the interest in the knowledge of environmental protection education is not high enough. Second, the content of environmental education in the current Zhejiang Education Edition version junior high school science textbooks involved is divided into two parts, namely centralized and decentralized, dominant and recessive penetration. Teachers tacit knowledge dispersed penetration unfamiliar. Third, teachers in the practice of environmental education in the process, the form is relatively simple, and the effect is not high. To solve these problems, from the students and teachers dimensions we give some suggestions.After examining these issues, the author starts from the perspective of environmental education teacher implementers, teachers hand Junior Science New Curriculum Standard (2011 edition) as well as the current version Zhejiang Education Edition junior high school science textbooks were environmental education content analysis system.
