We live in the era of big data, everywhere is full of data. As an effective tool to deal with the data, "statistics and probability" is particularly important. After World War II, by the impact of international culture, the Japanese high school mathematics textbooks had 6 revisions, the essence of which is worthy of our reference.In this paper, Taking the high school mathematics textbooks of PEP and Qilin Guan Edition as the research object, the use of literature method and comparison method for comparative study of the "statistics and probability". First, from the relevant content’s requirements of "statistics and probability" in the curriculum standard and structural system(overall structure, section structure, the structure of knowledge) of the high school mathematics textbook were compared in the macroscopic, in order to have a general understanding of the "statistics and probability" between the two editions’ textbooks.Secondly, the emphasis on the introduction of chapter and the mathematical concepts(the concept of introduction, the concept of presentation mode, the concept of understanding) examples and exercises(number, background, cognitive requirements)of the high school mathematics textbook were compared in the micro comparison, in order to find two versions of textbooks of "statistics and probability" of their own characteristics and the same point. In order to have a more in-depth comparison of the two versions of the textbook, select the typical case "binomial distribution" for a comparison. Finally, the analysis and comparison, we get the enlightenment of the design of curriculum standard and mathematics textbook about "statistics and probability" in Chinese senior high school.By comparison, the following conclusions are obtained: in macro comparison,the requirements of "statistics and probability" are more and more detailed in China’s "curriculum standards". the two editions textbooks are spiral arrangement mode; two versions textbooks of "statistics and probability" have similar structure of section but different structure of chapter; The knowledge structure of Qilin guan edition textbook is more closely and systematically. In micro comparison, the introduction of the mathematics textbook of PEP mainly in the form of inquiry, but Qilin guan edition mainly in the mathematical culture and living examples; the two editions textbooks all pay attention to summing up the concept from special to general, and the combination of text and mathematical symbols presents a mathematical concept, and using examples to deepen the understanding of the concept. But PEP is focus on mathematical inquiry,mathematics culture, mathematics thoughts into mathematics concept, Qilin guan edition textbooks pay more attention to the present of the knowledge derivation process;The Qilin guan edition have more examples, but PEP textbook have more exercises;PEP exercises’ background is more rich and colorful; the two editions textbook are pay attention to the application of knowledge, PEP focus on various exercises, but Qilin guan’ exercises are similar to the example.Through the comparative analysis of the two versions of the textbook "statistics and probability", there are the following revelation: first, the general goal of mathematics curriculum standard should be more clear; second, appropriate additions of content knowledge, adjust the content requirements, taking into account the close connection with the actual mathematics teaching; third, to sort out the knowledge structure of "statistics and probability", to adjust the order of knowledge and to improve the connection of knowledge content; fourth, to build an efficient classroom teaching and research in a proper way; fifth, reconstruction of mathematical culture, so as to integrate into the mathematics textbook.
