Recent years, It is gradually recognized that the traditional mode of high school education in our country hinders the development of the students,Makes the students lack of personality, creativity. In order to change the drawbacks of this kind of Education, In September 2014, the State Council issued the opinions on deepening the reform of examination and enrollment system, Using educational policies and systems to support the new reform of Education, Fundamentally change the traditional high school education model, Namely the school elective. Course implement, to new century needs all-round development of talents cultivation, the teachers’ teaching methods and students’ learning methods are more flexible and tend to perfection, and comprehensively improve the quality of education in senior high school in China.This study adopts the method of combining theory and practice, combining with the concrete practice of our country on research. This article mainly from the concept analysis of the course, through the selection of the theory and function and value analysis, This paper discusses the necessity of implementing the course selection in schools. This paper through the research on the current situation of senior high school course in our country, analyzes the cause of the problem, and to put forward the views of improving the school course. This article is divided into four chapters, The first part is the introduction, The second part is an overview of the course selection, Including the theoretical basis for the selection of courses, the function and value of elective courses, the basic elements of the selection of the analysis. The third part is the case study, the main selection of Shanghai and Zhejiang in two schools for case analysis, put forward the problem. The fourth part is to improve the opinions of the general senior high school course selection.
