In a man’s process of growing, the period of primary school is the foundation and ideological stage for a person’s development and the formation of his moral characters. During this period, the primary school students’ moral characters are in the process of gradually formed and growing. They have not been established, and with instability. This period is the peak of breeding and spreading some bad moral character. The number of students with moral misconducts is in the minority, but they have great negative effects on not only themselves, but also other students’ studies and teachers’ normal teaching. Moral misconducts could even induce criminal acts, and make the students go on the road of crime. Therefore, transforming students’ bad behaviors is very important to educators.In the late 1970 s and early 1980 s, the Caring Theory which rising in the United States brings an important enlightenment to our country’s moral education. Following the American psychologist Carol Gilligan raised some ethical views and ideas of Caring Ethics. Philosopher Nel Noddings, a famous educator went on a further improvement and carried Caring Ethics to the area of specific moral education practice creatively, and developing a unique model of caring moral education. Caring Theory contains a wealthy of educational resources, which could provide us a professional theoretical guidance and a new perspective for the study of pupils moral misconducts. This thesis is based on the perspective of Caring Theory to analyze the reasons of pupils moral misconducts, and use Caring Theory to transform primary school students’ moral misconducts into good behavior.The thesis includes five parts:The first part is the introduction. This part mainly introduces the paper’s research background, research significance, research status, research perspective, research method and design. This thesis mainly adopts the methods of literature, questionnaire and observation to study primary school student’ moral misconducts.The second part is to describe and classify the students’ moral misconducts. This part uses questionnaire method and interview some students, teachers and parents about the students’ moral misconduct. Analysis the results found that the features of students’ misconducts are swearing, lying, destructing classroom discipline, lacking of respect of teachers and parents, copying job, cheating in examination, assault, theft and so on. At the same time, these misconducts could be classified into five categories.They are named deception, defiance, vandalism, aggression and theft.The third part is to analyze the reason of primary school students’ moral misconducts from the respective of lacking of caring. This part is based on the in-depth interviews of teachers and some students who have moral misconducts. At the same time, this part analyze the causes of students’ moral misconducts including: the absence of caring from family, school and the society.The fourth part is to explore the transformation of primary school students’ moral misconducts. As mentioned in the third part, this part proposes the caring strategy from the perspective of family, school and society, and builds the transformation strategy of students’ moral misconducts under the view of Caring Theory.
