| Taekwondo is the Olympic Games, has been widely in the schools of various levels and amateur club developed, and the social recognition is higher. Six district of Beijing city a total of 547 primary schools at present, there are 345 elementary school in the form of different courses in the taekwondo, the proportion of the total 63%. Taekwondo is gradually becoming the elementary school sports development characteristics, but overall is still in the start-up stage, the course status has not been solid, as the development of school-based courses school or less, mostly depend on social forces in the form of interest class. This article USES the literature material method, expert interview method, questionnaire survey, field survey method, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and other research methods, the current situation of the development of Beijing city elementary school district six taekwondo research,thus in the process of developing the search for relevant motivation and confused, for the better development of taekwondo in the primary school to provide scientific theory basis.Through research, the main draw the following conclusion:1. The overall trend of the young age students, in the future development of tae kwon do project, the development of the pupil size will continue to grow, to one to three grade students as the center to carry out, will be fully covered elementary student market, primary school students has become a mainstream trend of taekwondo development object, so as to create a new situation of the development of taekwondo, taekwondo is the potential power of development.2. Quit the training due to various reasons of students is more, can’t keep the enthusiasm of students for training, that project a lot of disadvantages exist in the process of promotion,should be from the perspective of student interest, the high adaptability of teaching plan,perfect the development mechanism of the project, to do a good job of subsequent project development, make the project to the good sustainable development path.3. The different levels of students, not conducive to the implementation of the curriculum.In most cases, a class of students in a number of different levels, due to the course content is not rich, not able to grading, in batches for effective teaching, students’ learning time can not get effective use, this to a certain extent, the implementation of the obstacle course.4. The events in the form of competition, single content, does not favor the comprehensive development project. At present there is a kind of social phenomenon, in the pursuit of units or individuals honor is given priority to with practical teaching, to raise the level of excessive emphasis on individual development and potential, performance and other basic education most be set aside, this kind of development idea is one-sided. Event activities is the main part of the current development, and the events about pupil development in its infancy, so, the organization, the content of the event design, event system perfecting, need to strengthen also conducive to the teaching work.5. The imperfection of the campus facilities, affect the implementation of the teaching content, at the same time, the lack of teaching staff, does not favor the project promotion and to the cultivation of students. At present in Beijing city district elementary school six in the popularity of taekwondo classes range is not big enough to carry out the degree of also is not deep enough, still need efforts in terms of relevant education propaganda.
