| Teachers’ professional identity and teachers’ professional activities are related closely, and teachers’ professional identity is an important manifestation of teachers’ psychology and behaviors. Teachers’ professional identity is related to the teacher’s own development consciousness and the number of teachers’ professional development. So it is of great importance and significance to pay attention to the professional identity of teachers during the practice and professional development on teachers.In order to evaluate primary and secondary school teachers’ professional identity effectively, Hulan District, Harbin primary and secondary school teachers were investigated by using a self-designed questionnaire, this questionnaire includes eight aspects which are professional cognition, professional emotion, career expectation, professional value outlook, professional ability and identity to colleagues, the identity of students, to return to work identity, and combining with in-depth interviews on teachers. The survey results indicated there exsits gender differences on the teachers’ professional identity, and the secondary school teachers’ professional identity is higher than that of primary school teachers. Based on this, this paper puts forward the recommendations to strengthen the teachers’ professional identity. |
