With the development of economic globalization, University Internationalization has become an irresistible trend, and it is or has become the fourth function of university. China’s reform and opening is deepening, and in order to better adapt to the global market, we urgently need a large number of international talents with international vision, who are familiar with international rules, have the ability of participating in international competition and international affairs. Our country university internationalization level of our country need to be further improved. As a big province in China, the university internationalization development in Sichuan is imminent. But the "international level university rankings" found that the level of univercity internationalization in Sichuan province is not high. What’s the problem of international development issues it is?What’s causes the problem? These issues must be resolved.By reading a lot of literature and books, tease out the related theory of university internationalization, such as the connotation, motivation, content and strategies of university internationalization and so on. And on the basis of it, in the framework of the evaluation system in the "International level university rankings", which has been released for three years by the internalization of University Evaluation Center. This chart indicators include international students, faculty internationalization, internationalization of research, joint education, cooperation, cultural exchanges, international visibility and campus internationalization of the seven levels index and the last of the three indicators is the first assessment center of this evaluation center. For example, the five university of "211 project" in Sichuan, are supported by collecting large amouts of data.First, the research on current situation of sichuan university internationalization showed that a small number of out of exchange of learning, and less number of foreign students in China, especially high-level degree students. And in the teachers internationalization, the number of teachers to give lectures, attend in a advanced studies and foreign cooperative research are less. And there are less foreign cooperative education institutions and projects and there are fewer cultural exchanges in the Confucius Institute. In the international visibility, in addition to Sichuan University which has a place at some prestigious universities in the world rankings, other universities in Sichuan can not enter the ranks. Now the international campus construction is still in the primary stage, and unable to meet the needs of the majority of teachers and students.Next, represent in Sichuan University which owns the highest international level and Southwest Jiaotong University which at a moderate level in Sichuan procince, which two are selected in the "university international level list",and Peking University that ranked first in the eastern, Huazhong Science and Technology that ranked first in the middle. Through the comparative analysis, in addition to concluded that the disadvantage in the status quo, but also discover the advantages of this two universities in Sichuan:the number of undergraduates and the non-diploma students in foreign students are relatively more; teachers of international collaborative research abroad sent more than Peking University teachers and HUST; and in international research, there are a lot of foreign patents, and many Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions. In the cultural exchanges, the Confucius Institute at the country and regional research institutions less than the Peking University, but more than HUST. Further analysis of the internationalization development of the University in Sichuan province using SWOT analysis of the internal and external environment, internal advantages and many countries closer, unique natural and humanistic environment, many universities to develop the internationalization strategy, internal disadvantage of complicated geographical environment, the concept of personnel is not open, the lack of perfect international management and service system, external opportunity the "western development" policy, "The Belt and Road" in the background, the State encourages the internationalization of universities, the level of Sichuan province university internationalization competition external threats surrounding environment, poor environment, uneven University internationalization.Then, through teachers, administrators and students by questionnaire of interviews and surveys in Sichuan Province university, data obtained by Spssl9.0 of descriptive statistics analysis, with many of the conclusions of and current situation, comparative analysis, SWOT analysis method for the internationalization of Sichuan University, research study results are basically consistent. Further analysis of the Sichuan university internationalization development, objective reason is the geographical disadvantage, lack of national policy and financial support, subjective reasons included insufficient attention to the concept of internationalization, internationalization and a lack of funds, lack of international cooperation, internationalization campus construction problems and lack of participation enthusiasm.Finally, combined with the advantages and disadvantages of the current situation of Sichuan international and comparative analysis and the analysis of SWOT for Sichuan University international strategic environment. Combined with the survey of teachers, administrators, and students’ recommendations, now put forward to suggestions to Sichuan University internationalization, which are:Adhere to the characteristics of the school, set up the concept of internationalization; in the "western development" policy, to seek more international funds; with the help of "The Belt and Road", strengthen personnel exchanges and international cooperation; to change the traditional ideas, pay attention to the campus construction of internationalization.
