China is an agricultural developing country. The music education are mainly conducted in rural areas. The rural music education level directly affects the Chinese school music education overall level. Therefore, the investigation and thinking, research in the rural music education, and its main countermeasure have great practical significance.This thesis is based on the music teaching in Wulijie Middle School in Jiangxia area. It sheds light on common problems in music education in china rural places through experiments in grade 7. The thesis will deminstrate its point through results from different aspects:music teaching, curricular schedule, equipments and teachers. And it also tries to explore and solve the current problems in music teaching and put forward new ways and ideas.At the beginning of the thesis.I read a lot of theis paper and journals about teaching methods in middle school music class,and found my point of view and where to improve.After chosing the topic,I checked the music course schedule,devices in music classroom and the textbooks.Then I investigated students in Grade seven aboutwhat they have learned,what they thought of music class and teaching motheds.After theat I did a investigation on their parents.Then I interviewed some music class and difficulties in the process of theaching mothed,and how much importance the school has paid to music class.From the data in the investigation,I analyzer the music teaching current situation in WuLiJie Middle School.And I also explained the suitability after adopting the Orff-schulwerk Theory,Kodaly.Method and Teamwork System.I did a qustionaire and report at the end of the term after using these methods.I tried to come up with new ways and idears to solve the problems and improve the situation in music class in rural areas.The thesis states how to apply various teaching methods to practice with the help of class observation and data analysis of the questionnaire in Wulijie Middle School. The writer also put forward some corrctive actions in the shortcomings of practice, thus making my own contribution to the revolution of school music teaching in Wuhan rural areas.
