A Comparative And Evaluation Study Of Tohoku University’s Investment Performance

Since the China’s higher educations realize the leaping development, government invested heavily in the higher education every year. Education act clearly pointed out that china’s colleges should increase benefits of investment in education but,the determinate factor of high schools’steadily growing is whether the higher education funds can invest and use effective. This paper choose Tohoku University as the object of study,base on the quantitative indicators, analysis 2009 and 2012 Tohoku University’s investment and production data from three angles of university basic function,evaluation the investment performance. Then, sum up the experience and the lessons of Tohoku University’s investment performance evaluation and learn from it, help Chinese educational resources rationally allocated and used, increase benefits of investment, for improving the higher education level and promote corporation’s administrant lever and competitive force.This paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter primarily elaborates the purpose and significance of this study sorting out and summarizing the existing research; Chapter II is the basic definition of the concept and theoretical basis, explain the main statement of this paper involves the important concepts and the theory; Chapter Ⅲ is basic on the three university functions, compare the 2009 Tohoku University’s investment performance with the 2012 Tohoku University’s investment performance, analysis the changes of investment and production situation. In the chapter IV, analysis the situation of Tohoku University’s investment performance evaluation with detailed metrics; The chapter V takes suggestions to improve and strengthen research universities’operation and management. Final part is concluding part of this study and the research’s inadequacy.The innovation of this paper is to select Japanese universities as research subjects, because Chinese universities and Japanese universities have similar educational and cultural backgrounds. Do the research from an innovative oriental perspective,collection and statistical analysis the primary data. Adopting the methods of literature reviews,quantitative analysis method,case analysis method and comparative analysis method.
