Research On Cai Yuanpei’s Thought Of Moral Education

Cai Yuanpei is a famous modern democratic revolutionist, educator and thinker. In education, Cai Yuanpei attaches great importance to the healthy personality education, put forward "five propositions education simultaneously, and emphasizes the need to ethics as a fundamental", citizen moral: "liberty, equality, fraternity", and he combine these with Confucianism’s "benevolence,righteousness, forgiveness". With moral education as the center, Cai Yuanpei put European bourgeois moral Confucianism with Chinese traditional moral concepts blend together, advocating social reality full of personality cultivation.
