Primary and middle school teachers training is a systematic and specific activity.Whether it is in the transformation of teacher’s specialization or in the process of their own development, the role of teachers training can not be overlooked. Through the teachers training, the quality of teachers and the innovation ability of teaching and scientific research can be improved, the structure of teachers can be optimized and it can help to inject new vitality into China’s education. This study focus on two aspects of theory and practice of primary and middle school teachers training to conduct a comprehensive analysis, and then to find out the problems and reasons existing in the process of primary and middle school teachers training, this study also tries to offer some impossible ways to improve primary and middle school teachers training.The theoretical basis of this study is the teachers’ professional development theory, lifelong education theory and Knowles adult learning theory. Base on these three theories, the design of my questionnaire is divided into three parts: the basic situation of teachers, the training needs of teachers, and the current situation of teachers training. The questionnaire takes a part of primary and middle school teachers training of Shijiazhuang city as object, and analyses the current situation of teachers’ respectively from the training institutions, trainers and training content.Primary and middle school teachers think that the training institutions are not doing well in taking the initiative to learn and attending the different needs of different teachers. There are some problems in the option of training ways and the trainers’ training effects are not ideal.The last part of this study analyzes the factors that influence the training effect of primary and middle school teachers: the training institutions ignore the differences of demand among teachers; the training contents only focus on theory; it is difficult to meet the actual needs of teachers with one single mode of training; the training evaluation is not effective. In this part, I also try to put forward some corresponding countermeasures to enhance the traning effect, namely the itens as following: improvethe quality of the training of primary and secondary school teachers, perfect the training institutions, clarify the training princple, improve the trainers’ professionalization; select practical training contents and various training forms,complete a scientific training evaluation system.
