New curriculum reform has been carried out for years all over our country, but under the new curriculum, the difficulties between junior high school and senior high school has been bothering us for years.Though four years of teaching the writer has found there’s a big step between physics teaching of junior high school and senior high school for many reasons. The thesis analyses the reasons to build the step and provides teaching strategies to connect physics of junior high school and senior high school.The writer also use teaching cases to advance the connection of physics.This thesis is divided into six parts. The first part mainly presents the researching background and status,discuss the necessity to research the connection of physics in junior high school and senior high school, this part also analyses research method of the subject. The second part reviews some theoretical foundation, which includes constructivism, cognitivism,zone of proximal development.The third part analyses the difficulties to bridging the gap. The fourth part provides teaching strategies to reduce the gap of physics teaching in junior high school and senior high school. The fifth part mainly talks about several applications of the teaching strategies in senior high school physics. The sixth part makes a summarize and rethink on the research,points out some problems and the direction in the future..
