Application Of Historical Material In Geography Teaching Of The Middle School

Geography and history are basic subjects, they are very closely linked. Geography is a narrative subject to space as the main line, history is a subject of time as the main line. Space and time are very closely linked.This paper is helpful to cultivate students comprehensive thinking, is conducive to improving students’ ability to solve problems.The main research methods are literature. Through the review of the literature, using the form, the history material of the teaching of Geography in middle school is carried out.Collection of historical materials, is mainly from the historical literature and the history of the outstanding secondary school history textbooks. The basic mode, basic principle and the matters needing attention in the application of historical materials in geography teaching are summarized. The basic model includes careful selection, introduction, making and other aspects of improvisation. The basic principle is the principle of truth, interest and suitability. This paper also presents a specific teaching case.This article mainly included five parts:Part 1:We described the significance of this article, research status, research objectives and research methods in the paper.Part 2:The historical materials of the world history material, the Chinese historical materials and the application of the system geography teaching were also made.Part 3:The basic mode, basic principle and the matters needing attention in the application of historical materials in geography teaching were summarized.Part 4:In the eight grade "capital of Beijing" as an example, had carried on the teaching display.Finally, we summarized the views, and pointed out the points out innovations and inadequacies of the paper.
