The history of comics has the characteristics of intuition, visualization, interesting and intellectual, to a certain extent can reflected and reappeared the historical information it is a kind of precious historical material which can be used in history teaching. Junior high school students in the stage of thinking in images, the thought is active, the history of cartoon have some characters, like humor and satire, conform with students’ psychological characteristics, and more and more comic subjects was appeared in the senior high school entrance examinations. So in the history teaching in junior middle school, the comic as a visual aid in history teaching has received more and more attention of teachers.The teacher teach the history of comics in the junior middle school has some characteristics. This characteristics are reflect the image of the historical phenomenon intuitively, solve the problem of history teaching vividly, reductive history appearance humorously and enrich students’knowledge of history. These characteristics also reflected the function of teaching is to improve the students’interest in learning history, deepen students’understanding of historical knowledge and cultivate students’ability of thinking, etc. But in some areas, the history of cartoon has not been popular, even some teachers never use comics. According to the result of the questionnaire survey can be find out the causes of this phenomenon is mainly divided into some teachers have no attention to the history of cartoon, few students understand the source of the history of cartoon, and even teachers seldom use other teaching methods fit to the history of comics. In this article based on the reason of according to analysis the questionnaire survey, take the lesson of the1911Revolution for example to analysis the application of the history cartoon. The use of comics can be divided into three types:The first of all, we should use the history cartoon to guide into the lesson, which run through clues of the essay; The other is the cartoon teaching highlight the difficult points; And the last,we can use the history cartoon to end the lesson, this can understand the lesson deeply. We should pay attention to some problems when we are using history cartoons in the lesson. The first is a comic material should follow the history requirement; The second, we should select comic material reasonably to improve the degree of attention to the history cartoon. The third, everything in the teacher centers on student, to change our teaching ideas; The fourth, we should use other teaching methods fit to the history of comics.The history of comics as an auxiliary teaching tool, should be used in connection with other visual aids, teachers should reasonably using historical comics in class teaching.
