A Study On Education Of Personality Cultivation

In the new ages, high-quality talents is a strong driving force for promoting the development of economy and society and China’s modernization process as an important human capital, It is necessary to cultivate high-quality talents for building Chinese characteristic socialism. It is not only to implement the strategy of talent power, but also to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream. Personality training is a concentrated expression of a person’s quality and self-discipline, which reflects a person’s values, mentality, morality, faith, behavior, etc. It is an essential element of high quality talents, and it is an important factor that influences the all-rounded development of person. Therefore, the study of personality cultivation education is very meaningful. it is conducive to improve the overall quality of citizens and cultivate qualified constructors of socialism, what’s more, it will promote the all-rounded development of person.This thesis analyzes the background and modern significance of the study of personality cultivation education and the related research results in exists. Then the thesis analyses the connotation of personality cultivation, the practical significance, the main content, the strategy and approach of personality cultivation education by four steps. And the purpose of this thesis is to realize the realistic target of improving the level of personality cultivation. First, this thesis makes an investigation about the personality theory of the East and West. And according to the demand of modern society development, the thesis interprets the connotation of personality cultivation in four dimensions on the basis of inheriting and carrying forward the cultivation thought of Chinese traditional culture. The goal of the first part is to construct a model of personality cultivation to meet the need of development of modern society. Secondly, according to the demands of personal development, stability of society and national rejuvenation, this thesis constructs the content system with the guidance of socialist core values, which includes cultivation of the mind, noble ideals, morality and willpower. Thirdly, on the basis of analyzing the current situation of national personality cultivation, this paper discusses the time demands of personality cultivation education, in order to clarify the necessity and importance of personality training in the new period, and highlight practical urgency of national personality cultivation under the condition of modern social development. Last but not least, this thesis puts forward the strategies and the approaches of personality cultivation education. And the strategies include following the scientific principle, systematic principle, humanistic principle, forming educational resultant force and strengthen self education. And the approaches include ideological and moral construction, improving the external social and cultural environment of personality cultivation, playing a leading role in the correct values, the overall quality of citizen will achieve maximum development in the process of improving personality cultivation.
