This thesis, taking the philosophy literacy of Chinese teachers in middle school as the subject as well as its core content, based on the specific analyses of the present situation of Chinese teachers’ philosophy literacy, discusses the causes of Chinese teacher’s lack of philosophy literacy, and then puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies, which are aimed at improving Chinese teachers’ philosophy literacy.The author, after finishing reading some related papers on philosophical literacy,comes to the conclusion that Chinese teacher’s philosophical literacy is seldom discussed and no feasible measures are put forward so far, especially for middle school teachers of the Chinese language. There are just some vague principles about philosophy literacy training, such as strengthening the system construction,construction of campus culture and so on. In my point of view, these are just vision which is beyond teachers’ subjective control. Therefore, these methods of improving the philosophy literacy of the middle school teachers of Chinese is of little significance. The author thinks that the improvement of the philosophy literacy of Chinese teacher in middle school should be carried out in the following aspects:1. Improve the philosophy literacy of Chinese teachers in middle school via a wide variety of reading and learning.(a) Strengthen self education and develop a strong interest in philosophy literacy to accumulate some philosophical knowledge and to develop the spirit of criticism and absorption while reading. Develop philosophy thinking ability, including the ability of dialectical analysis, teaching rationality, creative thinking and so on.(b) Always learn from others and actively participate in various philosophical academic groups to get the guidance by expert.2. Improve philosophy literacy through education practice.(a) Improve the teachers’ professional identity, including a correct understanding of the profession of Chinese teachers in middle school, professional value-building and acquiring solid language skills, thus enhancing teachers’ professional well-being;(b) Interpret the Chinese language teaching from the angle of humanism to create a harmonious,democratic, open classroom. The Chinese language education should be people-oriented, so teachers’ open view towards new curriculum is of vital importance.(3) Pursuit personal morality, establish teachers’ "justice" image.3. Raise consciousness of the language teachers’ philosophical thinking and practice. Apply philosophical thinking to reading and daily work life. Form the habit of writing reading notes. Consciously apply philosophy to language teaching. Solve problems in working practice with philosophical methods. Enhance the philosophical wisdom of teachers through reading and practice.
