Although we have experience more than ten years of the reformation of art education, the effects are not conspicuous, especially in the rural areas of Guizhou province. Due to the shortage of economic development and the awareness of the importance of art education, there is still some blank left in the field, especially the defficiency of excellent art teachers and unadvanced teaching methods, so it is difficult to adapt to the new curriculum objectives and teaching requirements. Through the case study on the research status of Majiang county middle school, it tries to reveal what are the current problems needing to be solved in the field of art education in Guizhou rural schools, then attemptes to solve the problems in the multi-national Guizhou areas. This thesis strives to be innovational on the research objects and the survey points. First of all, the research objects include art teachers, which can avoid complexity of the research objects and help to carry out the deeper study. What’s more,, this study limites the research range in rural middle school in Guizhou province, which is also very necessary, because the similar studies done before can not cover the research on high-qualified teaching faculty in rural middle schoo.
