With the continuous development of Brain science, its significance has gradually been recognized and concerned by the educators. They continue exploring the teaching methods and teaching strategies according to the human thinking law, in order to achieve the purpose of improving people’s learning. As a kind of thinking-visualization tool, the mind map complies with the law of thinking of human brain. It can help people thinking and memorizing,and improve the efficiency of learning. Therefore, its role in teaching area has been paid more and more attention in recent years.Mathematics of primary school, as a fundamental subject in primary school stage,plays an important role in the accumulation of knowledge and the development of mathematical logic thinking. This paper take the course of "space and graph" as the key research and study how to use mind map to promote the "space and graph" course teaching in the high grade of primary school, in order to promote the mathematics teaching in primary school.This study firstly studied the present research situation of the mind map in teaching, the classroom teaching in "space and figure" of primary school and the strategies of mind map based on classroom teaching. We arranged these contents and summarized them. Secondly,taking the mathematics textbooks of "Beijing edition" as an example, we analyzed the teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching present situation and the existing problems of high-grade "space and graph" part, and discussed the characteristics and the classroom application advantages of mind map. On this basis, we put forward the principles of application in mind map in high-grade primary school classroom teaching about "space and figure" and designed the teaching strategies. To test the application effects,we have carried on the teaching practice for a semester. Through the analysis of test results,we demonstrated the effectiveness of the implementation of the strategies and obtained the focus and directions of the next step.
