Since the Ministry of Education promulgated the"full-time education mathematics course standards (trial version)"(short of"standards") in 2001, every region carried out the curriculum reform in mathematics. This curriculum reform radiated to curriculum rationale curriculum content teaching methods and so on. Because of importance of classroom instruction, textbook is the core of this curriculum reform. It is the key to success of this curriculum reform. In this background, various textbooks have been published. In mathematics curriculum reform, the"plane geometry"reform was concerned by many scholars. The Van Hiele theory is one of the most popular theor in plane geometry field. A lot of developed countries design geometry curriculum based on Van Hiele theory. This paper based on Van Hiele, according to the specific indicators of each level of thinking, to compare"Graphics and Geometric"of two mathematics textbooks: PEP's edition and BNU's edition. At the same time this paper analyses various stages of the textbook Van Hiele level of thinking. Furthermore, this paper took < congruent triangles > for example to analyse two textbooks'merits and faults in this field.According of comparison and research found that:1,PEP's edition in the field of logical reason is higher than BNU's edition and spend more time in this field. BNU's edition is more emphasis on hands-on training, textbook spends more time in exploring theorem, making students to experience the process of knowledge acquisition.2,PEP's edition basically a knowledge-point as a unit, to design the development of geometric thinking level, the content is more coherent, the formal deduction introduces naturally. The BNU's edition in the first few of thinking levels designed is similar with PEP's edition. But it is more to come from the overall design of the development of geometric thinking level. So that the textbook install: prove (one),(two),(three). 3,Two textbook install similar content in the previous sections of < congruent triangles >. After these contents, PEP's edition introduces formal deduction and transition level 2 to level 3. However BNU's edition introduces informal deduction and transition level 1 to level 2.Altogether tow textbooks have their characteristics, from different perspectives to interpret the"standards'idea", play the role of textbooks fully.
