This study will explore the developmental relationship about national identity and ethnic identity of adolescents, learn about the relationship between national identity and ethnic identity of Tibetan adolescents, construct the developmental model about the relationship on national identity and ethnic identity of adolescents. The article used the National identity scale complied by Chen Jing and Tibetan and Chinese bilingual ethnic identity scale of the 11-24 Tibetan adolescent aged between 11 and 24 years old complied by Luo Ping to investigate a total of 2420 Tibetan adolescents from ten grades including grade 1 students to Senior students. The results showed as that :Overall, national identity and ethnic identity of Tibetan adolescents in the Tibet area is relatively high. The grades of Tibetan adolescents on average of five points of national identity and ethnic identity scores higher than 3.5. The double high proportion of each grade is greater than 67%, the highest proportion of 82%.There are significant differences between national identity and ethnic identity of Tibetan adolescents in each grade, the grade effect is extremely significant. The results of variance analysis showed that, about the difference value between ethnic identity and national identity, the four grades of the first grade, two grade, junior three and senior one were no significant difference. Sophomore and senior students score higher than grade one and senior students about national identity and ethnic identity.The correlation analysis on national identity and ethnic identity Tibetan adolescents: ethnic differentiation and national identity were significant positive correlation in each grade stage. The relationship between the ethnic identity and national identity in the grade changed. Between grade one and two grade stage there are significant positive correlations, and other grade was not significantly related, but sophomore and senior appeared significant positive correlation.We use structure model to further explore the development about the relationship between national identity and ethical identity, the grade one about national identity and ethical identity include model of multiple relationship. The grade two with national identity and ethical identity is the Cross Perspective of multiple identity model. The junior three and senior students about national identity and ethical identity is the independent and harmonious of Multiple identity model. Freshman in college about national identity and ethical identity is the Cross Perspective of multiple identity model. Sophomore about national identity and ethical identity is the independent and harmonious of Multiple identity model. Junior and senior students about national identity and ethical identity include model of multiple relationship. The Tibetan adolescents about national identity and ethical identity in the stage of college are unstable. Ethnic differentiation in the whole grades’ development model, has great influence on Tibetan adolescents’ national identity and ethical identity.The results of the study show that, the individuals about national identity and ethical identity highly scoring are always majority in each grade. The relationship between national identity and ethical identity is developmental correlation, and in each grade about the relationship of national identity and ethical identity has its own features. But in all grades the relationship between national identity and ethical identity is not compatible or mutually inhibitory relationship, the existence of common basis ethnic distinction between them.
