Tibet as China’s Tibetan settlements, due to the special geographical position at the southwesternborder of China, and its strategic value, economic value, international influence, the Tibetan’s nationalidentity is important. Groups of young people is the leader of the future,also, the young people is themain force to promote Tibet’s political stability and economic and cultural development in the future.For the group of high school students in groups of young people, their Physiological and psychologicalare in a period of rapid development, in this period they absorb much knowledge of culture and otherrespects. So we need to pay attention to the status and influence factors of Tibetan high school students’national identity.In this paper, through literature analysis, semi-structured interviews, questionnaire survey of highschool students in Tibet’s national identity and related factors, we found that:1、the high school students in Tibet’s national identity get a high score. The six dimensions(Self-classification, the importance of self-concept, private collective self-esteem, public collectiveself-esteem, emotional attachment and interdependence beliefs) are unbalanced. private collectiveself-esteem get the highest score, the importance of self-concept get the lowest score.2、There are significant differences in gender, school and grade, and no significant difference in theseat of the family and the level of monthly income.3、There are no significant differences in the parents’ educational level and occupational4、there are no significant differences in the relative number of Tibetan and Chinese friends thereare significant differences in the absolute number of Chinese friends.5、There are significant differences in the the Chinese learning time and level of self-evaluation.6、there are significant differences in schools’ organized political activities7、 the political activities organized by the school, the Chinese learning time and the number ofTibetan and Chinese friends are the largest contribution to the national identityMeanwhile, based on the interviews and questionnaires analysis the paper also give the advices toenhance the national identity of the Tibetan area high school students, include strengthen the socialnetwork of Chinese friends and increase and improve the channels which can help Tibetan students’understanding of the world and life around, carry out the practice activities, from reality to develop arational national policy and stability policy, pay attention to the role of schools、 educational methods toimprove the curriculum.
