National identity is the sublimation and reflection of patriotism, national identity education is the core of patriotism education. Tibetan middle school students should insist on national identity unrelentingly. In recent years, it is increasingly rampant in Tibetan areas that the domestic and foreign reactionists are advocating ethnic division,so that the political situation of stability and unity have been destroyed, and it is threatened to the Tibetan people’s daily life, religious activities, and even the life and property safety. Therefore,our country should maintenant and protect political stability and sustained economic development of Tibetan areas, at the same time, our country must pay attention to strengthen the education of national identity to the Tibetan students.Student’s ideology should be early trained and let the blood integrate earlier and deeper into the consciousness of national identity.It is critical for national unification, ethnic unity and social harmony to cultivate positive and healthy national identity consciousness of Tibetan middle school students, make them correctly treat and deal with the relationship between ethnic identity and national identity, which is an important urgent task of national school.In this paper, based on relevant literature and data and the questionnaire, taking Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture Z middle school students as the research object, from the content of the education of national identity, the method of the education of national identity, the effectiveness of the education of national identity,these three aspects described the present situation of the Tibetan middle school students’ education of national identity, by analyzing the status quo of discovered the problems existing in the education of national identity Tibetan high school students:a part of students and school administrators do not know the connotation of national identity and education clearly; the content of the education of national identity is too knowledgeable and a kind of theory;the method of the education of national identity is too traditional and lacks of innovation;school education evaluation of national identity is not reasonable; the attention to national identity education is insufficient among the school leaders and teachers,on which basis how to strengthen national identity education of the Tibetan middle school students is discussed and the corresponding measures and suggestions is put forward. These measures and suggestions include:improve school degree of attention to the education of national identity;insisting on the principle of combining theory and practice; broadening the way of education;optimizing the cultural environment of the campus;playing an active role of family school and society,which aims to help Tibetan middle school students realize the status and problems of national identity education,to strengthen the school to pay attention to national identity education, guide Tibetan middle school students to establish the correct sense of national identity and can stimulate their patriotic feelings in practice,encourage students to make a patriotic action in daily life,to cultivate qualified citizens for the country.
