After reading a lot of literatures on the teaching effectiveness, the study of the valid biological teaching was carried in the high school of Miao and Dong areas. This research based on the comparison of the similarities and differences of the valid biological teaching between Jianhe county and other areas, meanwhile, took the constructiveness, ZPD theory, situational teaching theory and research as the theoretical frame support. By introducing the Miao and Dong minority ethnic’s traditional culture characteristics and practice into the valid biological teaching, and then conducted one year experiment in Jianhe Ethnic High School. The results suggested that the effective biological teaching practices and strategies in the high school biology of Jianhe County in the future, including: 1. it should be strengthened the ideological and moral education for students, 2. combine the creation of scenarios and teaching methods, 3. it need to explore the core and continuous learning by combined the Miao and Dong traditional culture, 4. Activate the students interesting on the absorb ability for the biological information. Because the study of the valid biological teaching in minority ethnic area was few, it indicated that may be a new teaching innovation.In addition, there still were some difficulties and shortcomings of the biological teaching in Miao and Dong area, under this situation, it has three ways to resolve these difficulties, such as: firstly, it is necessary to pay attention to the emotional investment for the biology teachers; the second one is to improve the divergent thinking ability of students by teacher’ work; the third is to improve the information technology utilization for the biology teachers.
