Study On The Relationship Between The Scholarships And Grants For Graduate Students And The Quality Of Technological Doctors

With the development of the society, more and more attention is paid to education. How to enhance the quality of education becomes a hot topic for which all sections of our society care. In order to accelerate a better and quicker development of education, we need to reform the problems occurring in the field of education. This article studies on the relationship between the scholarships and grants for graduate students and the quality of technological doctors, aiming at offering better services for technological doctors and enhancing the quality of technological doctors through reforming the scholarship and grant system for graduate students.There are four main sections in this article. The first one is the study on H University’s scholarship and grant system for graduate students, including its consists, its developments and its trends. The second one is the study on the assessment of the quality of technological doctors. In this section, we build an equation to assess the quality of technological doctors with Analytic Hierarchy Process. The third one is the study on the relationship between the scholarships and grants for graduate students and the quality of technological doctors. We aim at exploring the relationships between the sections of the scholarship and grant system for graduate students and the quality of technological doctors through regression analysis. The last one is the suggestions on the reformation of the scholarship and grant system for graduate students.One of the conclusions of this article is there is a significant positive correlation between the quality of technological doctors and the scholarships and grants offered by universities and the research assistantship. The other is there is no significant relationship between the quality of technological doctors and the teaching assistantship. As to the management assistantship, the situation is the same with the teaching assistantship. On the basis of these conclusions, we come up with three suggestions for the reformation of the scholarship and grant system for graduate students. The first one is to strengthen the hierarchy of the basic scholarships and grants to enhance motivation. The second one is to reinforce the assistance of Sanzhu and enlarge the coverage. The third one is to widen the channel of the funding and make the schoolfellows play an important role.
