With the rapid economic development in the 21 th century, the way people work and live has been changed by the unceasing economic transition and social transformation. The increasingly remarkable pressures of enterprise employees are indeed a serious issue affecting the whole economic society for a long period of time, especially, the employee of funeral enterprise have the bigger pressure problem. How to solve this problem properly is related to the coordinary development of economy and society. In the process of enterprise development, social work play an irreplaceable role. Great stress in today’s work-life causes employees many prolems such as mental and physical heath, personal competence, office network, as well as future occupational planning. at the same time also influenced by the bereaved families and the pressure from the public.This paper, based on the research and study conducted by social work station of F funeral enterprise in Chongqing about pressure problems of its employees, and on such theories as Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Field, Cognitive-developmental Theory, Social Support Network Theories, and Strength Perspective, comprehensively analyses the source and influence of enployees’ pressure in this company. And in this paper social work methods, such as the group activities, community activities and individual interview, are conducted to help the employees of funeral enterprise learn to how to face and release pressure and eventually get rid of the disturbance, so that they can excavate potential to achieve self-advancement and develop a sense of identity and belonging to their employers, thus establishing a comprehensive social support network, raising the recognition of funeral social work and paving a way for indigenization, professionalization and specialization of social work.
