| Chinese Language is a basic subject which unites humanity with instrumentality. In order to learn other subjects, it is essential for middle school students to lay solid grou ndwork for Chinese Language, cultivate Chinese ability and form humanistic quality. An cient poetry teaching plays an important role in implementing this objective. New Curric ulum Standard clearly stated that Chinese Language should pay attention to the forming o f Chinese quality. Ancient poetry and prose bearing the Chinese traditional culture is imp ortant for students to cultivate and form these qualities. However, it is still worth discussi ng how to train middle school students’ reading interest in ancient poetry and appreciatio n of literature works, improve their Chinese quality, edify their sentiment and then cultiv ate their aesthetic taste, all of which can pave the way for other subjects’ study.Obviously, according to New Curriculum Standard, an effective way is needed to ac hieve this target. To address students’ problems in learning ancient poetry, we need to ex plore a targeted strategy which not only improves students’ grades but also advances thei r study ability.The introduction of this thesis focuses on the background of the research, the signifi cance of the study and the research status. In the first part of this thesis, ancient poetry tea ching theory and limitations are discussed. Combining with the reality, the second part st udies the teaching status by means of investigation and analysis, and then finds out the cr ux of the problems which serve as the starting point of this paper. The third part proposes improvement strategy to these problems. |
