College students’ employability is strong or weak is the important symbol of the talent training quality of universities, it related to the smooth employment of college students and rational allocation of college students’ talent resources. The university students’ employment situation is very serious in our country, one of the most important reasons is that college graduates employment ability is weak, at present, the shortage of college graduates employment ability caused by structural unemployment becomes the core of college students’ employment, promote college students’ employability has become the important proposition of the talent training mode reform. In practice, to solve the employment problem, especially the structural unemployment problem, depends on establishing an effective mechanism of university students’ employment ability training.College students’ employability refers to gain the ability to work through learning and practice during the period of time while in college, it includes the ability to obtain a job and get promotion. College students’ employability is a complex system composed of different elements; it is mainly composed of the base layer ability, the cover layer ability and the development ability of three levels of nineteen elements. Ability of the three elements interact with each other, which constitute the structure system of college students’ employability, and also constitute a completely system of employability which is decided by college students’ employment behavior. Therefore, promoting college students’ employability should be combined with the different factors of college students’ employability and structure level, and put forward to adapt the various factors of employability and promotion ways and methods of the dimension. At present, there is a big gap between college students’ employability and social demand our country, among many reasons the rooted one lies in the talents training target positioning which is not accurate, and the professional curriculum and the society, neglecting the practice ability, and lack of career guidance service and so on. From a comparative perspective, the college students employability training practice can give us useful reference, mainly includes the professional education and quality education, entrepreneurship education combined with practice, employment guidance and services throughout the whole process of higher education, etc. This research through the case analysis the Kansas state university college students’ employability training mode in the United States.In practice, to improve college students’ employability, the most important is to build a employability education system of government, universities, society and university graduates multi-main-body synergy ability. Government relevant departments should strengthen the policy guidance, the implementation of the college students’ employment ability improve relevant laws and regulations; Should from the two aspects of education and counseling in colleges and universities, explores a certain ways to improve college students’ employability; Enterprises should take an active role in college personnel training process, the establishment of the college students’ employability the training mechanism of university-enterprise cooperation; in order to enhance the active consciousness of employment, college students should promote the key elements of their skills, and strengthen their comprehensive ability.
