School-based curriculum development has become the focus since the Ministry of Education started a new round of basic education curriculum reform and carried out three administrative levels of curriculum policies. As a supplement to the national curriculum, school-based curriculum development is of great significance. For a long time, the management of the curriculum in our country is centralized by Ministry of Education, Which lacks flexibility, but school-based curriculum just to make up for this disadvantage. However, from the current situation, for one thing, because many teachers had not received systematic theoretical study in the previous study, they knew little about the theory of concept, content, implementation, evaluation and management aspects of school-based curriculum. For another, due to the entrance examination of the pressure, the development and practice of school-based curriculum in high school is difficult. In terms of this situation, researching basic curriculum development has a certain theoretical value and practical significance.In this paper, literature analysis, questionnaire, interviews and other research methods are used, selecting life mathematics for breakthrough of the school-based curriculum development. Starting with the concept of school-based curriculum development, origin and development, take "Mathematics and life" school-based curriculum’s development, implementation and evaluation process for example,analyzed from needs survey of curriculum development, choosing of classroom teaching content, implementation and evaluation of specific aspects, and have a reflection on the process of "Math and Life" school-based curriculum development,expecting to provide high school math teachers for specific operation ways and promoting awareness of teachers, providing some practical basis for exploring the curriculum reform based on curriculum development.By the summary and reflection on all aspects of the school-based curriculum study, the author have found that the following points are vital to the development of school-based curriculum: 1.Developing the school-based curriculum contains students’ learning needs analysis and the analysis must run through the whole process of it; 2.Improving teachers’ ability of curriculum development is the key to the promotion of school-based curriculum; 3.The whole society should participate in developing the school-based curriculum; 4.The development of the school-based curriculum must be associated with students’ life and the local culture; 5.A reasonable curriculum evaluation is beneficial to improving the school-based curriculum implementation effect. The author wish the study could provide certain reference value for the high school teachers of mathematics in developing the school-based curriculum, which in turn promote teachers’ understanding of the school-based curriculum, then we can get a practical basis for the exploration of school-based curriculum in curriculum reform.
