For one hundred years, the education is the foundation; for the revitalization education, teachers are the first vital. A new round of basic education curriculum reform, the government puts forward a new goal for training high-competent people. History majors of teacher colleges are the main position of middle school history teachers′ pre-service education, how to cultivate high-quality teachers is the mission and task. However, from the current actual situation, there are a lot of problems in history major education of normal universities. Especially on the teaching methods,cramming education teacher method leads to cultivate "quasi history teachers" teaching theory and teaching practice out of touch. Therefore, train high school history teacher in History Teachers Colleges should make certain reforms in the teaching.The case teaching method is a new teaching method which is different from the traditional teaching method. Rely case, group work、class discussions、teachers and students to participate are its notable features. It changes the teacher force-feeding teaching methods and students accept way of learning and have a practical. It also communicates the normal students′theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Since the 1870 s, it has been widely used in academic medicine, law, etc. In 1980 s, the teaching method began to apply to teacher education and spread to China. Up to now, there has experienced 30 years of development in China. On the basis of case teaching method in theory of foreign scholars study, domestic education scholars have carried on the comprehensive research. Those for the application of case teaching in the normal education have laid a solid foundation. In recent years, quite a few teachers colleges have recognized the unique function and role of the Case Method. They are beginning to encourage teachers to precede the case teaching method and case library construction from conduct research policy and fund research. And teachers in many of the teaching profession who have been teaching for specific use cases were several attempts. Of course in the middle school history teachers’ pre-service education, whether it is necessary to use this teaching method or how to use, what should be paid attention to in use? This is to be discussed in this article.In this paper, I will write from five parts to discuss the “Research on the application of case teaching method in history major education of normal universities”. The first part is the introduction section, I firstly raised the issue to be studied from the content、the number of relevant research analysis presentation. Especially analysis is introduced the application of case teaching in history teaching. I introduce the methods used in this study as well innovation place. The second part is the summary of case teaching, which contains meaning of case teaching、theoretical foundation、features and the compared with traditional teaching methods. In the third part,based on the new middle school history teachers’ questions and related literature, I analyze the necessity and feasibility of the application of case teaching method in history major education. The part four is the central portion, the use of case teaching program is designed. Combined with the history curriculum and pedagogy in the lessons section, I designed a brief step which is used the Case Method. In the last part of this article, I analyze the several problems in the application of the case teaching method and put forward some suggestions.
