The basic task of history course is to cultivate students' moral character and to improve their core quality of history.Case teaching method is a kind of teaching method that takes case as the main teaching material,teacher-student interaction as the main teaching method,and the development of students' ability as the main purpose.Through guiding students to analyze and discuss the case,the final conclusion can be drawn.This kind of teaching method conforms to the trend of the new round of high school history teaching reform,which is of great significance to the cultivation of students' core quality of history.But at present,the case teaching method is seldom used in the teaching of history in senior high school,especially in the teaching of history of historical thoughts.Therefore,it is of great research value and practical significance to let more senior high school history teachers have a deep understanding of the case teaching method,to skillfully use this teaching method in the ideological history teaching and to promote its application.Firstly,the paper defines the related concepts of case teaching method and discusses the theoretical basis of case teaching.Secondly,through the analysis of the teaching content of ideological history in the history textbook of senior high school,the author thinks that case teaching method has its own advantages for the teaching of ideological history,which can effectively cultivate the core quality of students' history discipline and develop their comprehensive ability.In order to fully and objectively understand the current application of case teaching method in history teaching in senior high school and the current situation of ideological history teaching,a representative survey and interview were conducted among the students and teachers in the first and second part of senior high school.Through the analysis of survey data and interview materials,it is found that at this stage,students are generally not interested in the study of ideological history,the history teachers' understanding of case teaching method is not in place,and the teaching efficiency of ideological history is low.To use case teaching method in ideological history,we should also face the source of cases,classroom efficiency,and deal with the relationship between case teaching method and other teaching methods Relationship and other issues.Thirdly,in order to fully prove the role of case teaching method in the history of historical thought teaching in senior high school,we take "the formation and development of the three people's principles" as an example,through the three stages of pre class preparation stage,classroom implementation stage and after class evaluation stage,we fully demonstrate the implementation process of case teaching method in the history of historical thought teaching in senior high school,summarize the specific implementation strategies,and propose At the sametime,it finds some deficiencies and areas to be improved,and puts forward some suggestions in order to provide a successful example for the extensive application of case teaching method in history teaching in senior high school.The application of case teaching method in history teaching of senior high school can effectively solve the problems in the teaching of ideological history,meet the requirements of education for developing students' ability and cultivating high-quality talents with all-round development,and at the same time promote the professional development of teachers and improve teaching ability.However,this is a long-term process,which needs to be explored further and the joint efforts of all teachers and students.
