| History has become the past. Therefore, if we want to know history and have a clear understanding of history, we must rely on historical date, so does history teaching.Teachers need correctly select and appropriately utilize historical material in history teaching. It will not only stimulate students’ interest in learning history, but also can improve students’ historical thinking ability. The thesis conducted action research in the countryside senior high school to find out how historical date teaching combined with the local historical resources and improve students’ historical thinking ability.Firstly, the researcher learned the teaching experience through the interview of seven history teachers of this school. After interviewing, the researcher came to a conclusion that although students’ history foundation was weak, they liked history learning and thinking. They were also looking forward to the historical date teaching.Therefore, the researcher made the teaching plan on the basis of the above situation.Secondly, through listing of related cases, the researcher pointed out the basis of choosing historical date, learning situation, the difficult and important points and the implication contained in the historical data to design historical date teaching.Thirdly, the researcher also carried out the introduction lesson with historical data that students are interested in or related to their life, used the historical data for different levels of inquiry teaching of new class according to the characteristics of different types of historical data. At the end of the class, the researcher guided students to make a brief summary by using historical data and carried out the recitation, cultivated students’ ability of induction, summary and analysis of historical knowledge;Lastly, the researcher reflected on three years of historical base teaching and drew a conclusion that is using the multimedia teaching method, emotional education and giving full play to the students’ subjectivity. Also the researcher pointed out the problems of selecting and using historical data. Because different types of historical data have different characteristics, teachers should pay attention to the amount of material used. Although the researcher had three years teaching experience, there are also some problems in the selection of historical materials and the use of historical data,in order to solve these problems, the researcher should enhance his professional qualities, take notice of the amount of using historical materials and guide the students to study actively. For the researcher, the most important thing is serious reflection after class. |
