With the rapid development of educational informatization in our country, the construction of the digital education environment reaches a new stage, all over the country raised a hot wave for the construction of the "three communication two platforms". Where "person to person" as based on the system of personalized application of network teaching and learning environment, but also became the focus of the field of educational informatization. Meanwhile, the generation of "digital native" grow up with information age also need a more realistic demand about individualized learning and the learning environment. At present, the construction of "person to person" has obtained certain achievement, but also has exposed the problem at the same time, such as people pay attention to the development, yet ignore the application. It is lack of effective means of application for many personal learning spaces, and neglected the application potential that personal learning space have, made it became a decoration of network learning space. So, this article will focus on the application of students’personal learning space, from the perspective of learning activity design to explore the way and method for improving application effects of students’personal learning space.This study expounds the concept and connotation of personal learning space in detail, and positioning it a second learning space for students from the two perspectives that are students’study demand and expectations and the features of personal learning space has to look at personal learning space; Further, detailedly analysis and discusses the three main functions:create e-learning portfolio、create circle of friends、create learning community, and five essential functions:personalized setting、message and notice reminding、course management、resource recommend、 space dynamic reminding, all of them are students’ personal learning space should have; Finally, from the all of the network learning platforms that have been constructed maturely to select three typical personal learning spaces to analysis and research theirs functions, as to provide theoretical basis for the following learning activity design, and lay a foundation for practical application of personal learning space.Based on the early discussion for connotation and function of personal learning space, under following the total principles of "by activity promoting application", according the requirements of learning activity design in the teaching and learning design, put forward four principles of learning activity design and construct the model of learning activity design; Further, guided by learning activity design model, combined with personal learning spaces’function characteristics and environment background to design four types of learning activities, such as summarize and reflection, interaction and communication, achievement exhibition, collaborative and exploration, in order to achieve the goal of effective application; Finally, select the student space in National Education Resources Public Service Platform as implementation platform, the students from second year in a junior middle school as participants, implement specific learning activities. Through the interview method, observation method and platform data to analysis specifically the application effect and problems on personal learning space, practice and application achieved the expected effect. Aimed at shortcomings existing in the research, put forward the direction of the following research.
