Research On The Construction Of Competency Model Of Community Workers

Community is the regional society, community workers play multiple roles.They are dedicated to community service and management, to meet the diverse needs of community residents. As an intermediary, community workers implement the Party’s work with practical actions, and keep relations between the party and the government and the masses of the people for social stability. So to choose community workers and to build their competency model has a certain theoretical and practical value.Modern community workers are from the traditional role of the street, but need to set up a modern concept of service and quality. Community workers have their own characteristics such as professional and comprehensive, traditional and modern, professional and secular, flexibility and financial policy. In order to meet the needs of society and the new career development for further enhancing the level of community workers, the research of community workers competency model is objective necessary.Firstly, this paper describes the research background and significance, etc. of the topic "Community Construction Worker Competency Model," to tease out ideas and research framework. Secondly, based on existing domestic and foreign community workers about competency and competency model research, drawing on competency theory and research methods, this study theoretically pave the way. Thirdly, to HG Town as a case, a questionnaire prepared for the types of community workers, community residents, using spss17.0 for descriptive statistical analysis with recycling questionnaire data, analyzing the current status of community workers. Fourthly, after verifying the reliability and validity of the questionnaire "community worker competency questionnaire--- Volume community residents and community workers roll", this paper conducted exploratory factor analysis for community worker competency. With principal component analysis of the survey data to extract eigenvalues, which greater than 1 as the common factor key indicators, constructed a community worker competency theoretical model included five dimensions( which include combination of professional competence, learning and development capabilities, roles driving force, professional ethics requirements, personality traits). Finally, based on the system analysis of the competency model, this paper explain the use of the "model" in the implementation and management of community workers and hiring management assessment for improving the service quality and level of community workers, for providing theoretical references and scientific evidence in recruitment, training and performance evaluation of community workers, to abundant domestic application of competency model.
