| English as an important basic subject of junior high school, more and more get the attention of the parents and students. Qingzhou Gaoliu Middle School is an ordinary rural junior high school, school of its kind in a hierarchical teaching level in the city.The school students’ English foundation is bad, helicopter junior middle school students from elementary school, but, after entering junior high school because of course the sudden increase, the current lack of the necessary equipment in learning English, rural school rural English teachers’ professional level is not high, the students lack of good study habits and the correct method of study, family and school lack of English learning atmosphere, and many other reasons, will result in a majority of students in English learning problems. And this kind of English learning difficulties often leads to a vicious cycle: students failing grades-- reduced self-discipline--continued continued decline- tired- truant, kip, surfing the Internet, and so on a series of bad behavior, seriously affected the normal order of teaching of English.This paper adopts literature research method, survey method, interview method and observation method. Through the investigation of students and teachers in four junior schools in the study of questionnaire and individual interview, and walked into the classroom observations, starting from the student’s own differences were analyed, specifically from the aspects of reasons for differentiation, textbooks, teachers teaching methods, attempting to reveal the serious problem of polarization in rural junior middle school students exist in the process of English learning, and on the basis of in-depth analysis of the causes of the problem. Investigation found that part of junior high school students English learning difficulties in both student own internal cause and external cause, the cause of part of the junior middle school students English learning difficulties has the following several aspects:Students study purpose is not clear, lack of learning interest, the lack of good study habits, improper learning methods and so on will lead to the formation of learning difficulties; Part of the English teachers’ professional quality is not high, learning methods lack of effective guidance to the student also has direct influence on students’ English, the influence of family environment and school problems such as lack of the atmosphere of learning English is also the cause of some junior high school students’ English learning difficulties. According to the analysis of the causes of junior middle school students English learning difficulties, the author puts forward the corresponding countermeasures. |
